    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As a summer intern, you are treated as if you are a new graduate joining the firm. Daily, seniors and associates will give you tasks that are a part of completing the audit. This helps gain familiarity of the documents required to complete the process and give you an overview of how it works.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • My excel skills have increased drastically, as this is an application that I would rarely use in day-to-day life, and now I am able to perform various functions with ease. My collaboration skills have developed since working with a wider network and staff of a more senior level. I was included in all team discussions and was given the opportunity to voice my thoughts and opinions
