    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • The MD Office looks after a variety of different functions within SAP, these include operational aspects, events, customer engagements, partner management, and much more. Involved in a variety of projects as well, these include preparing forecast notes, organizing large and small events and assisting the partner business, and performing Ad Hoc tasks for both the MD Office and Partner Team.

  • Yes - from organizing virtual events internally and with Partners. Alongside being responsible for projects throughout the placement.

  • The onboarding support was fantastic considering it was the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. From arranging onboarding materials to getting all IT equipment set up, support was always there.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • SAP has a wide ecosystem of people with a depth of knowledge who are always willing to support. Considering the placement was virtual, many people offered time and support.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • The support from my team throughout my placement was second to none. The SAP Culture is keen to develop early talent and development interns, providing plenty of opportunities for exposure over the 13 months. Considering my placement was affected by COVID-19, SAP has gone above and beyond to provide an experience that has been worthwhile and would highly recommend. I would be honored to come back in the future if the opportunity was presented!
