    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • 9/10 I really enjoyed my time with the bank. The internship itself was insightful and rewarding. I would recommend anyone interested in the relationship banking industry to apply to this internship. I was introduced to somebody from every department across the bank. Getting to learn from a variety of individuals across multiple departments.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • 10/10 By the middle to end of the internship I had the same responsibilities as a fully fledged member of team. It was refreshing to be considered an equal.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • 7/10 As parts of my modules relate to banking, this internship has given me an invaluable insight into the banking world. This has helped me to understand different parts of my modules more throughly, which hopefully will convert into better results this year.
