About You
Really enjoyed the insight week. It gave me a greater understanding of the company as a whole. Also allowed me to see all the possible pathways my career could take within the Real Estate sector.
Really valued when asked to do comparable evidence for a specific property, as I knew that that evidence would be going forward to make a valuation.
As much guidance as I wanted. I was able to ask for advice and help at any time as I was on a desk right next to my mentor. This really helped me as I always knew that I could ask questions as I was completing work.
I think the skills I have learned will really help in my degree and future. I think the ways in which valuations take place and the things that are needed for a report will help me when completing reports in university to try and make them as close to the real thing as possible.
The Company
I think the insight week was well structured by having meetings with my mentor at the beginning and the end of the week. However, I don't think a regional structure is needed for the whole week as was emailed to us before the beginning of the week. This is due to the fact that each team does very different things and the possibility to go out on a site visit takes precedent over the webinars for insight students. Possibly a structure just for your team or individual week would be more helpful. However the changing events and different types of work makes the week more realistic to what work is really like.
Very good. Everyone was very friendly towards me as an insight student. Also I found it very encouraging that many people introduced themselves to me and explained their job and pathway, this enabled me to understand the full range of options within the business.
The invested a lot in me by giving me loads of time to ask questions and explain anything I didn't understand. They were even gave time for me to ask industry questions not just specific to the job at hand.
Being able to go along to a graduate talk really explained more about the company culture.
very helpful to understand more but I am still undecided.
Everything Else
