Overview
Assisted with the Open and Visit Day events Managed the multiple social media channels the School has Edited and updated the websites and brochures I mentored student ambassadors which taught them how to copywrite.
Skills
I have developed, communication skills and working within different sized teams. My confidence when demonstrating activities and presenting and increased massively.
Responsibilities
Since the Marketing office consisted of me and one other, I had a lot of responsibilities. Although this was the case, I was never given a task too far in the deep end. Only what my manager thought I was capable of doing which I found reassuring.
Support & Guidance
Lots during my placement. The manager and I caught up formally each week to discuss the work ahead of us. I particularly found my monthly probation review meetings helpful as It taught me what I needed to improve on.
Culture
It was very welcoming, I felt instantly part of the team. They made the offices feel like a community especially doing weekly socials e.g. coffee and cakes
