    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • • Attend weekly progress update meetings with my supervisor and PhD colleagues in which I also present summaries of relevant studies for our research (‘Journal Club’) • Work collaboratively with the Speech and Language Therapy department’s Social Communication and Interaction Preschool Supports intervention (SCIPS) • Working directly with children with social communication needs and their parents, observation and coding skills, written case notes respecting confidentiality • Score psychometric data (SRS-2, Parenting Stress Index, Vineland)

  • I found my placement stressful due to my personal issues with imposter syndrome (what I now understand it to be) I did not understand this and struggled to deal with this yearlong.
