    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • A Team meeting involving the other intern and our assigned mentor would be conducted in the morning to go over the operations that needed to be carried out in the day. We would work on these tasks as the day goes on (sometimes as a group) to complete these tasks. When we would finish our task we would message our mentor and ask for a review or call for a meeting to go over our tasks towards the end of that day. There were also business meetings surrounding other fields of the business once a week along with an intern catchup meeting with the CEO and mentor with all interns at the end of the week to show our progress

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

    • I have improved my skills in market research and developed more knowledge on how to use more software such as Hubspot and Figma. My skills in Canva have gone from immediate to advanced as I was creating content for their social media.

    • I was given a good amount of support by my co-workers who worked in the field of Marketing and CEO who would always offer advice and allow you to message them at any time if any help was needed.

    • The culture was very warm and welcoming. I received many welcoming messages and was given briefings by senior members of the company to help me settle in.
