About You
It was a brillaint experience. I think I had a fair insight into what life is like at Squire Patton Boggs as a trainee.
Completely. I was given 'real' work that I was trusted to complete, but my supervisor was willing to help if I struggled. Those around me were willing to sit down with me and talk me through the work they wanted to complete,
My supervisor checked in with me everyday to ensure I was coping OK. There was also a partner who I sat with who was helpful in making sure I had a steady flow of work.
This last weeks experience will definitely filter through to life as a trainee. My researching and drafting skills are much stronger compared to the start of the week.
The Company
We were given the timetable at the start of the week. We stuck to the timetable completely, there was no 'surprises'.
Brillioant. Comparing it to another vac scheme I have completed, I could certainly tell the differece. The people in the office made a fun and enjoyable place to work. The days went so quick!
The firm allowed me to spend time with trainees, associates and partners.
I now have a clear insihgt as to what life would be like as a trainee as SPB.

£250 for Leeds.
2 networking lunches and one social on the evening
Great fun, we were invited to the Christmas party and the whole office was in attendance
Lots of pro bono and volunteering activites. SPB has a charity of the year for whom they raise funds for.
