  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Thoroughly- it gave a real insight into what being a trainee would be like.

    • Very- everyone was extremely approachable and the firm has a great culture.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • As much as I needed- if I felt I needed help with something then everyone was approachable and I felt able to ask.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • A lot. In particular, research and presentation skills which I feel will assist me at University and possibly doing the LPC.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • I felt it was very well structured as we were told exact timings etc of assessments and explained how the whole process will work.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Great! Although I was nervous because I was aware that I was being assessed, we were made to feel very welcome and the firm has a great culture.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • I personally felt a lot as they ensured we knew what was expected of us. We were provided with IT and safety training and shown how to use the relevant sites such as practical law.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • A lot, as most of tasks I was given were those typically given to a trainee,

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?

    • I think the socials helped with e.g. the summer party as were able to get to know people outside of the pffice environment. Within the office it was a great opportunity to get to know people.

    • Very- it has confirmed that I do want to pursue a career in law.

    • Yes- lunch events, socials, training sessions

    • Great- everyone was very welcoming and friendly and I enjoyed the social events that were put on.

    • Yes. For example, charity work.
