  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I enjoyed all aspects of the vacation scheme and I learnt much about the firm and myself.

    • I felt incredibly valued as I was provided with high quality, client focused, work from the outset.

    • I received guidance and support from both my supervisor and trainee. Fortunately, I did not require much supervision, but I knew the option was there should I need it.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I had little experience in employment law. Therefore, being placed in this department allowed me to develop my knowledge in this area.

    • The vacation scheme was structured well from start to finish.

    • Everyone I interacted with was both welcoming and friendly from the start.

    • The firm invested in me heavily, providing with work for clients of the firm. This exposure to high-quality tasks enhanced my development.

    • Following the vacation scheme, I am now certain that Squire Patton Boggs is the firm I wish to build my career at.

    • Working at the firm has clearly shown that its values are not simply for show. Rather, the friendly and collaborative culture can be felt in all areas of the firm.

    • All the tasks I was asked to complete throughout my time with the firm were essential in deciding my career path.

    • I have been informed that I will be paid for my time working for the firm.

    • Yes, we were invited to various networking lunches with employees of all levels.

    • The networking opportunities were enjoyable and informative. These events allowed me to understand the values of the firm further.
