  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Given lots of different tasks in a number of areas which helped me to get a lot of experience.

  • Everyone was friendly, felt part of the team from day one.

  • Any questions I needed answering; they were there ready. Really supportive and helpful in building on my skills

  • Was in stages. Could be really busy at one time then not have too much to do. But it balanced out.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was left to get on with tasks on my own, given guidance if and when I needed/asked for it.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It built up slowly, so that it the pressure was not overwhelming but still challenging.

  • Everyone was friendly and made you feel welcome.

  • Majority of it was well thought out.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They took a lot of time and effort to train me in the software package they use. Everyone was patient when training me in the different disciplines, if I didn't know about something all I had to do was ask!

  • Travel loan

  • It's a very good company to work for. They are very development focused and want you to improve and get better.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • People in the office were pretty sociable if anyone actively encouraged them to come to the pub

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I live in a shared house so it has not been too expensive.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • London is full of bars, pubs and clubs. Also plenty of sober activities to do.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • The younger crowd in the office were pretty good at getting together for days out.
