The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Freeholdings. It helped me gain significant experience in an office environment as well as developing my skills in both communication and marketing.
My colleagues valued my work as well as my input to the highest standard. When I worked hard it was definitely recognised.
Throughout my internship I was given alot of guidance by my supervisors but I was never baby fed. Once they recognised I could complete a task competently, I was given the responsibility to complete my work to my own pace.
Extremely! There was always work to be done at Freeholdings. I also felt that my work was valued and was an essential part of the part of the company's day to day business.
Initially I was given a simple admin task to complete, but when I showed that I was more than capable of completing the inital task, I was assigned to call clients on behalf of the company. A job which carried alot of responsibility.
During my time at the company I received training in administration organisation, correct phone etiquette and training in how to deal with a wide variety of clients, helping to sort out any concerns they had.
The Company
The office environment was delightful. Pleasant staff and a great team attitude to all tasks.
The internship was very well organised. Any queries about my work which arose at my time with Freeholdings were dealt with consideration and efficiency. The company recognised the skills I already had and tailored the internship to what I was best at and what I wanted to get out of my time there.
I developed my interpersonal skills whilst at the company, as well as improved my communication skills.

Great! I was asked to stay on as an employee.
The Culture
The language barrier was abit of an issue as many of the interns are international. But everyone got on amicably, despite the language barrier.
Fulham is a very expensive area. Luckily, I live locally at my family home.
Fulham is a very expensive area. So to compensate this, the company director often kindly organised drinks on Friday night at a local restaurant for the staff and interns.
There were no activities other than office drinks organised by the director. However many of the interns made plans as a group to go out from time to time.
