    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • i really enjoyed it, i learnt a lot. This has come in useful for my degree, and also looks great on my C.V.

  • I felt very valued by the staff, and by my supervisor.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given as much guidance as i needed, but left to be as independent as was trusted.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very busy, but this was becasuse of what was needed to be done. I signed up knowing it would be. There was still room for enjoyment.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility, which i was grateful of,

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It has given me lots of skills, including management, meetings, IT skills, people skills. The list goes on.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was really pleasant, everyone was sociable and friendly.

  • It was set up well, the initial start was slightly disorganised but after that it was fine.

  • They invested trust, and gave me as many opportunities to train as possible

  • Subsidised Canteen

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • There are non, unfortunately every one is self employed through funding. This is a shame, as i would love to work for the company.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, there was a fellow intern who i became good friends with and lots of opportunities to hang out.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Same as where i live, south west UK prices.

  • Good, the town centre is a 5 minute walk.

  • yes, there was plenty of activities to be part of and extra organisations to join in with.
