Great environment to work in, lots of other placement students provide a good social scene, whilst the work on offer is interesting and challenging.
The IBM placement scheme can be brilliant when it works, but unfortuately, my job role was very poor, and as I commuted to work, I didn't benefit from the brilliant social life of the IBM placements.
Great place to work, however there was often quiet periods when there was little work for me to do
Extremely enjoyable so many other students to network and socialise with as well as an incredible opportunities to experience all areas of the business.
Have had a great year and been given the chance to get involved in projects which interest me as well as the day to day grind.
Sometimes the job was a little repetitive but the location and colleagues I worked with were brilliant. Wanting to come back as a graduate.
Really good experience, I learnt a lot about the corporate world of IBM and made some life long friends in the process.
The job was fulfilling and the team that I worked with were great. There was a great atmosphere also amongst all of the interns employed.
I worked with a great group of people and enjoyed the work I was involved in.
I have really enjoyed my time at IBM so far, and their education resources are next to none for getting the most of what YOU need out of a placement.
Many opportunities for personal development at IBM. You are given a task list as well as a list of activities you can undertake including volunteering and training courses.
