  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • 4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone that I've worked with has been friendly. I have been given lots of tasks to undertake which shows me that they think I'm doing something right.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I probably had one of the better managers that would take on placement students. She was very knowledgeable on all the systems we used and also has had a few years experience with placement students.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days can go quite slowly and others will be very busy but that's just work I guess.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • At the start of my placement it was more about learning all my files and the systems. But after about 5 months or so I've been given a lot more work to undertake and hosted calls about work that I'm doing as well as systems that I've worked on.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Developed my excel skills a lot as well as VBA. IBM run skills workshops which are also useful if you want to get some assisted learning.
