The internship was a very enjoyable experience - it was interesting and challenging, and I enjoyed the responsibility given by my colleagues. My colleagues were also very friendly which made the programme even better. I would highly recommend it to anybody
The placement was hugely enjoyable, both as a learning experience and as an opportunity to be closely involved in some exciting projects and deals. The variety of assignments, tasks and projects was phenomenal, and there is no doubt that the sector team is world-leading in the field.
The Summer Internship was generally enjoyable. When things were good, they were really good - but there were low points which should be expected in this line of work. For me, the environment, the pace and the subject matter were stimulating and put me in a challenging sphere which I got a lot from.
I truly enjoyed my summer internship in Global Advisory as I felt I was given real responsibility, working on many live interesting projects. We had full support from HR and our buddies within the teams. The team made sure we know what’s expected from us in advance and offered us help and support at any times.
I had an incredible time at Rothschild. The programme is very well organised and well rounded. A series of presentations served as an overview of the financial industry and Rothschild's divisions. Throughout various networking events, you were able to get to know the firm even better. Interns also had the opportunity to join two work shadowing sessions and present an evaluation of a potential merger/acquisition in front of a panel of directors! This gave us a true insight of what it is like to work as an Analyst at Rothschild. The programme was rounded off by a volunteering event at Body&Soul. This not only allowed me to bond with other interns, but also showed me how Rothschild cares about the communities in which it operates.
I had a great experience during the Spring Insight which provided me with a comprehensive overview of Rothschild's Global Advisory. The program was nicely spread out and we were required to complete a group M&A case study project by the end of the week which I felt gave us a very good insight into the actual work that they do. We were provided with very in-depth information about each company which I thought made the project very realistic and I had a lot of fun working with my group members.
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight- it was a lot different to what I expected. I have always heard such terrifying things about Spring Weeks, however Rothschild's spring week was completely different. The general relaxed atmosphere made the week a lot more enjoyable as we all felt comfortable to ask as many questions we had. We even had the opportunity to do a creative volunteering opportunity, which I personally loved and it showed me how important giving back is to Rothschild.
I really enjoyed my week at Rothschild. The divisional overviews were extremely comprehensive and I was able to meet a range of professionals from different backgrounds and of varying seniority levels. I also really enjoyed the volunteering morning at Body & Soul Charity, which was such a unique part of the programme and highlights the firm's commitment to corporate social responsibility.
I thoroughly enjoyed my Spring Insight with Rothschild. A smaller-sized cohort (24 people) allowed us to bond together very quickly and work cohesively throughout the week. The panel sessions were very interactive, and I found the Coca-Cola case study particularly interesting due to the large-scale size of the deal. I really enjoyed work shadowing as it provided an in-depth and more realistic insight of the role of an analyst, and we were shown an example of a pitch book.
