The Role
I absolutely loved my placement, it was challenging but I learnt an incredible amount.
I felt like an important member of the team and I felt appreciated.
I was given support and guidance where it was needed and this helped me develop my skills and understanding of processes.
I was busy but I was conducting interesting tasks. I would stay late on numerous occasions however I was never bored.
I felt empowered to be given my own projects to conduct. I felt like I was trusted to get on to my work. I was given a large amount of responsibility.
What I have learnt on my placement will be hugely beneficial when I return to university. I can now include my own relevant experiences which will give my assignments more depth.
The Company
There was a great atmosphere in my office, it was a great place to work and the people I worked with were lovely.
I believe the placement was ran very well and I have gained experience in a variety of different areas.
I was given personal training to help better my excel skills and I was also given access to Skillgate which consisted of online training courses.

I would love to come back to Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains as a graduate. If there was an opportunity I would apply for it.
The Culture
There was a good social scene with the placement students, a variety of different events happened and I have made lots of friends.
The area where I am living does not have much going on, however the cost of living is relatively cheap.
It's a small town so there isn't much, however every time I have been on a night out it has been a good time.
Yes many.
