The Role
The internship allowed a lot of insight into the company and this is something I really enjoyed. The coach Alex really helped with any challenges and it really allowed for some good self development. The company offered good professional training days too which were really enjoyable and showed that we were truly looked after.
I felt really valued - I even got to meet the CEO. The interns didn't feel like interns, we were always made part of the team.
A lot of guidance, as well as the chance to learn independently. There were various members you could approach if you had a problem and it was always made aware that you were to step forward if need be.
It varied, I'd like to have been busier some days but I believe that is part of an internship.
A lot, I was given a project that meant I could really dig down into the depths of the business. This is an internship which I believe is not offered elsewhere.
There was a lot of career development and this is something I will take forward with me in future applications and work experience. Not only this, I believe the whole internship has matured me into making smarter decisions at University, such as having better time management.
The Company
Friendly. I was placed within a 'village' of the company so I think I felt a different feel to the other interns. This however was not all bad as It meant that I got to get a stronger feel for how the company really worked.
Very organised, the training and projects were very well thought through.
There were two training days before the internship which did not only tackle things we would face on the programme, but also looked at our long term and short term goals, as well as career prospects.
Fairly appealing - there is a new graduate programme where you get to route around the business.
The Culture
Yes, the rest of the interns were great to work with, and we also managed to socialise outside of the office too.
I was living at home so really cheap for me.
Again, living at home so same as I'd always had.
Not really, this could have been improved a little.
