  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Warner Bros. is a really exciting place to work full of interesting people.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone is super friendly and always happy to answer any questions. There is a great support base.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • We have reviews and feedback every 3 months as well as weekly catch ups. There was never a time when I felt I couldn't ask questions and the questions that I did ask were always answered.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • This depends on each department and what is going on at specific times, however it is usually super busy which makes the time fly!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given more responsibility throughout the year as and when my manager felt I was ready, I was always able to say if it was too much/not enough.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt how to manage my time as efficiently as I can as well as completing tasks well before the deadline. I have gained invaluable experience about the working world throughout the year.

  • The atmosphere was always upbeat and everyone is really helpful.

  • The placement is really well organised, with a good spread of interns in each team and on each floor.

  • We had monthly training which was invaluable for our future careers.

  • Knowing many employees is a plus, as well as how the organisation works as a whole.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There are around 50 interns in a company and Warner Bros. organised for us to meet up before and many of us live together.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is generally very expensive, for accommodation and living expenses.

  • Some fairly good pubs!

  • We were always taken to the offices of our agencies to see how they worked, as well as off site activities.
