Overview
Day to day tasks included tracking our titles sales and units sold, other ad hoc tasks and dealing with manager queries. As well as maintain all data sources insuring its in date for models which are presented to wider territories
Skills
My understanding of the office environment, knowledge of software and processes as well as other soft skills such as communication have all increased over the course of my placement
Responsibilities
Whilst being an intern the responsibility and tasks were pivotal. As I was directly involved in sending data and building reports which other territories would use as well as my manager to create future forecasts.
Support & Guidance
My manager was always around if I needed help and the early careers team for any guidance. There was always support around if I needed it.
Culture
The atmosphere on my floor was great everyone was sociable and easy to talk to. I gained a lot of insight crossing with other teams such as the marketing or PR departments.
Your Impressions
My placement was really enjoyable whilst some days may be stressful the overall atmosphere of the team, managers, company and people made it a great year
Yes
Try to network as much as you can with other teams not just on your floor so UK consumer products to strategy as there is always a lot to learn and great people to be met
