The Role
Great, fantastic people, learned loads, amazing opportunities.
Great - It was fantastic being part of such a close nit team. We all used to socialise outside of work together too!
Great, my line manager was great at supporting me develop.
My workflow was very well managed by my team and there was always things that I could get involved in.
Lots, I was responsible for pulling together information that was presented to BoM, Directors and even the Managaing director himself!
I developed both personally aand professionally in my year at VWG. I have learnt lots of transferable skills that I will take with me into my degree and in to my future career. This placement really opened my eyes about what it is like to work for such a great organisation.
The Company
Always jokes around the office, lots of office banter which always makes all the hard work seem not so bad!
Good overall structure, good induction and handover process with a mid year review and an end of year placement reflection session, as part of this we are completing these reviews.
Lots of training courses provided, but you do have to be proactive and request the development in order to be granted it.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Car

We do have to apply for the graduate scheme but are fast tracked to the assessment centre.
The Culture
Yes there was 30 undergraduates, you could get involved as much or as little as you wanted!
Average down south prices.
Have to say this part is pretty rubbish. Coming from a big city there isnt much to do around here.
Most weeks there was always something going on whether it be witht he undergraduates, with your team or department.
