    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role it to coordinate the employee lifecycle from start to finish. This includes external offers, internal offers, exit interviews, parental leave etc... I run reports frequently for different areas of the business and help manage the internal HR inbox by giving guidance on policies, problem-solving and assisting the customer where needed.

  • I have learnt so many new skills. Being my first office job, my work practice/time management has developed the most due to the fast pace of work. Furthermore, my communication skills have developed massively due to speaking to numerous different areas of the business each day for different reasons.

  • I was surprised by the level of responsibility given to me so soon after joining, this helped me to learn quickly and develop further than I ever expected.

  • The support was immense. At time it was difficult due to it being remote at times, but the support offered by my direct and wider team was great. There was an understanding of how difficult it may be to train remotely.

  • The company culture was fantastic, I always felt included and I was in alignment with all of their policies and group essentials.
