The Role
Had a great summer working for Procter and Gamble, the work was fun, stimulating and provided me with lots of opportunities to develop.
Felt I was an extremely integrated part of the team, going for drinks and other social functions with the team was a regular occurrence.
Fantastic support leading me to gain an offer from P + G and complete some tasks which were at first daunting but after advice were extremely achievable.
9-5 most days, if not working a bit later towards the end of the Internship. An extremely flexible approach to working and I was able to work at home on Fridays if I wanted to.
I led personally three projects throughout my time, using other team members for advice on which direction to go down but the projects themselves were mine and mine alone to decide how I would achieve the desired result.
I believe I have started to gain some skills that will only grow throughout my working career, public speaking, data analysis, networking, leadership, reacting to change are just a few of the skills I developed during my time at P + G.
The Company
Friendly, relaxed everyone was keen to help in any way or go for a coffee to get to know you better.
Obviously knew how to run an internship program, lots of experience and it was clear that this was an established internship program.
Weekly training courses were the formal training but I felt that the training was much more than that, simply being in a company of this size and working of projects that added value to the business provided invaluable training and development opportunities.

Working from home
Very, I received a job offer in the Customer Business Development/ Sales department starting in 2016/2017.
The Culture
Was good, although I think this could have been worked on more with more regular socials and the allocation of halls where all the interns could live together, as in the past, could be an improvement.
You are paid a fair wage for outside of London, but you live and socialise in London so I didn't save any money put it that way.
It was London, it's up to you to make the most of it, there's nightlife for everyone if you look for it.
Loads of sports opportunities, I played tag rugby on a Wednesday on Clapham common - numerous other sporting activities incl football, badminton, tennis - you name it there was a club for it. Or if you wanted to create your own club you could.
