Overview
Role included the execution and monitoring of month-end tasks, reviewing and systematic resolution of incidents occurring during month-end close.
Skills
Time management and presentation skills were developed significantly as well as the development of a new skill autonomy due to the flexibility and independence given in aspects of work.
Responsibilities
Lots of opportunities to grow through increasing responsibility throughout the placement year, for example- leading an incident project for the full team.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support and guidance available- line managers always around to support in anyway. Also a pillar of staff to present in front of who provide lots of expertise and assistance for personal growth.
Culture
Culture and atmosphere is a very welcoming environment and staff are helpful to everyone- in particular, during working from home stages this remained the same and many efforts were made by the site to create an inclusive environment still.
Your Impressions
Thoroughly enjoyed my placement year and was lucky enough to be able to rejoin post graduation for my career.
Yes
