The Role
Very enjoyable, was given the opportunity to be involved in lots of interesting/exciting projects, including design work and helping with press days.
Team members always showed appreciation for your help with projects.
Weekly catch-ups with a mentor and meetings with the 'people team', allowed you to discuss any concerns you had, receive feedback on your performance and discuss projects you want to be involved in.
if you are not busy with a given task there are always other projects you can be involved in!
Interns are given individual tasks and deadlines to help with the running the running of department.
The internship enabled me to learn how to; - successfully present creative ideas to others. - Understand the manufacturing process. - Manage time effectively. ready for my final year studies and future employment.
The Company
The atmosphere was fast paced but always friendly and social, you always felt included in the team and were invited to team socials.
Welcome packs and and introduction to the team and tour of departments allowed you to settle in quickly.
Team members always gave you tasks depending on what you wanted to learn the most.

The Culture
There were regular social events within the company, however there were not many chances to meet with other interns.
Rent and the cost of living was expensive but the company offered discounts to help with this.
The area has a number of good bars and clubs.
Yes, the company has a lot of clubs which run after work and the area in which the placement is placed also has a lot of interesting events to get involved in.
