  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have really enjoyed my internship at L’Oreal. Although there are long hours, you really feel valued by everyone and the ambitious and clever people you are surrounded by on a daily basis really motivates you to always strive for the best results.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt very valued as a member of my team and by the L’Oreal business. I was offered the same benefits as usual staff members, I was included in key meetings, and had a lot of responsibility within my team.

  • My manager was very understanding and offered me a lot of guidance throughout my time at L'Oreal

  • This varies throughout the year, but usually you have to cope with various different task at the same time.

  • There is huge responsibility given to you as an intern at L'Oreal

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Market insights, ways of working, office etiquette and general ways of working are going to help me huge amount in the future.

  • People were friendly but very work orientated

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Although i did not replace anybody when i arrived, and was not given a formal handover, i feel HR and my manager made me fel very welcome and at ease.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I regularly went to training sessions held by L'Oreal and i was able to visit outside training sessions with L'Oreal stake holders to further my learning of how the company as a whole works.

  • The intern comitee organised regular events.

  • London Hammersmith is pretty expensive

  • London is a very good night out. Possibilities are endless.
