The Role
It was really interesting and I was involved on a range of different projects which gave me insight into various areas of the company.
I was given a lot of responsibility and my work was appreciated.
Both my managers and team were always there to support me. I felt I was able to approach them about anything and they would be able to go through what was needed to be done or explain to me the processes.
There were days during my placement which were crazy busy! However it was all about managing my time to priorities the tasks and if I needed it, I could ask my manager to help me do this.
It was exciting to not only be able to help but have ownership of tasks and projects.
I learnt something new every day! Being in an office environment is a shock to the system after studying for so long. So it was really useful being in a professional environment and learning what is acceptable in the different situations I came across. I had the opportunity to go on wide range on training courses throughout the whole of the year which were interesting.
The Company
The team I worked with were lovely and we all had a laugh together!
It was very well organised. There were welcome meetings and introductions into Warner Bros. and the various departments in the company.
We had organises training throughout the whole year which ranges from presentation skills to “Developing Interpersonal Effectiveness and Communication Skills” and software training.
