    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • When I had lots to do I really enjoyed it - it only became a struggle on a couple of occasions when my workload was slow.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt like I was able to make a real difference in a number of areas. It is a feedback oriented firm, so you get told when you've really helped out!

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Learned a huge amount from my manager, without ever setting up key objectives at the start of my placement (which might have helped).

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On the whole I had a good balance.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Responsibility in a number of different areas. Also given the opportunity to meet clients on a few occasions.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • 4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I was in the sales team, which had a really fun atmosphere.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was slightly ad hoc, due to a change in manager a month into the placement. Otherwise, its gone smootly.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I've been to a number of training sessions during my time here - all very useful to my day to day job.

    4/5

  • Subsidised/Company Gym

    Company Parties/Events

    Working from home

  • Anywhere is London is expensive!

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Able to play some sport throught the firm and there were occasional team trips to the pub after work.
