The Role
Mostly I found the opportunities to develop very rewarding and the rewards were fantastic for doing the right thing but I did find the job hard at times
I mostly felt appreciated for the work I put in
If you ask a question to the right people you get some great help
This was a very busy placement with a high work load
Suitable for my level of knowledge and understanding I had enough responsibility to show the best I could do but not too much so I wasn't overwhelmed
Improved time management, planning skills and my ability to think through a problem from start to finish
The Company
My department are very work orientated so I times it would be very quiet with everyone working away
There were somethings that were well organised but other things could have been better
They are very encouraging of you to develop your skills in any area that will help you, your project and the company
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
I would consider working for this company because they really reward hard work, innovation and iniative and there is a lot of opportunity to develop and travel
The Culture
The other placement students were all very supportive and regular nights out occured
Reasonably priced accomodation and you could enjoy a great night out at reasonable cost
The company is slightly out of the city centre but most people lived in or near the centre so the nightlife was very busy
The sports and social club has events in many areas and the intern program involves regular activites outside of work
