The Role
Amazing R&D capability. Great training in everything needed for the job. Great creativity enhancing resources and labs. Never bored always motivated.
It is very easy to get to know everyone in the GLIC-R site. Everyone is extremely kind and eager to help.
Everytime I needed guidance from my supervisor or any other employee I would receive it immediately or we would schedule a catch up session for a few hours or days.
The variety of activities and the nature of them makes you feel that times goes really fast beacuase you are always really into the tasks. Most of them are just pure fun that evolve into creative ideas and applications.
You are treated as any other employee, same expectations and level of demand. Great to push yourself through your own projects.
Life changing experience that will increase the value of my professional profile.
The Company
I would've never imagined that trying to create the next billion dollar product would be so much fun.
HR people were always in touch, in my case there was a little bit of delay in my arrival date but that was mainly because of government processes that had to be done before moving to the UK.
Excelent training oportunities. You are offered a lot of courses and events but you can also look for others that could help your work skills and the company might pay for it. I had a serious SolidWorks course with all expenses paid and attended various events.

The Culture
Just like family.
Fair prices. Nice life quality.
It is not London but it is really great.
Freetime club gives you endless chances to do fun stuff outside work. Also uni sports clubs are quite fun.
