    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish, I learnt a lot about creative marketing and what a working day was like. I found it really interesting.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • A really welcoming, kind group of people that work together in a friendly, team-like way. Couldn't have asked for a better group of knowledgable people to teach me in a better way.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • They taught me the foundations of every aspect of the field, from research, to social marketing tactics to graphic design.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • At my current point in education (high school), I will still struggle to be given the opportunity to fully present and use all the things I'd learnt during the placement in my limited days at school, but in the future, and through creative subjects I enjoy the most like english and product design the information I've received has proven to be more than useful. In future work I'm certain what I have learnt will assist me in finding more creative work such as this.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • On the first day I was presented will the two main projects I'll be working on, as well as the daily tasks that would help me in completing these projects. It was all very clear, as well as flexible; I create my own timetable and do different tasks on different days.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Some days were meetings, some were research, some were outings to actual projects the company were working on, and some were designing days. It was something new every day, and I was never bored of what I was doing.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I developed massively in knowledge. I started with barely any, and ended with a lot.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Initially I had a sense of temporary work surrounding all I did, but it didn't take long before I felt as if I actually worked there and would be for a long time. The last day came a sad surprise.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • There isn't anywhere quite like it, the culture has a moral aspect behind it; I don't imagine they'd ever accept a client's money over their agreement with the moral side of a client's project.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • 4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • At the end of the placement I was given vouchers to spend and other gifts; they really treated me like family, I was never patronised at all.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • I interviewed each one on their work and on themselves at one stage.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Sadly I didn't get a chance to attend any social events as such, but I did visit sites were their work was underway or had been completed.

    3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Music reviewing, and other activities I found about during my time there.

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Absolutely, can't stress enough what a brilliant place it is and what a good time I had there for my first experience of work. Many of my friends would enjoy this place too I'm sure (similar tastes and interests etc.)

    5/5
