    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was very enjoyable, the people were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • EY made sure to make each of us feel valued by the firm, focusing on our strengths and encouraging us to apply for the firm with fast-track opportunities.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The entire academy was about providing us with in-depth feedback on our leadership styles. I was not disappointed. We were reviewed both by members of staff and by our peers.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Since the academy I have noticed a change for the better in not only my leadership skills but also how I interact with others on a daily basis. This is definitely the most valuable thing I took from it.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Each day contained different activities or tests.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • While it certainly wasn't all fun and games and we were expected to work hard, it was extremely rewarding and we all chose to do it. I was certainly never bored.

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Again, my personal development was the focus of the academy and so I gained an awful lot.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The academy focused on personal development and so EY was not often talked about. The staff were very informative and pleased to answer any questions you had but this was not the reason for the course.

    3/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The fact that they were running an event purely for my development with no obligations to apply to the firm showed my what kind of culture they invested. The opportunity to get to know the members of staff well allowed further insight.

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Before I would not have applied to do anything with EY. However, having learnt more about them and what they do, I have accepted a place on their summer internship scheme.

    4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Expenses were reimbursed and I everything, and more, was provided on the academy.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Staff were directly involved and very pleased to help or answer questions.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Superb. We could talk to staff members at any time and there were social events in the evening.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Had I asked, I am sure that I would have been given a more than adequate answer.

    2/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • It was one of the most worthwhile things I have ever done.

    5/5
