  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • At times very demanding, however, quite fulfilling to see the Fromula one cars race around the t4rack after the hard work.

    • I was given responsibility and trust, however, everyone is very busy, so they have litttle time sometimes.

    • Managers generally instructed me well on my tasks, and i was able to ask them questions about it.

    • very busy 'crunch times' and otherwise good demand of work.

    • Projects i was given were often my sole responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I want to become a benhmark engineer, therefore this company was great for my experience.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • All male engineers are fun at times, but mostly serious and working hard.

    • Well set up, but sometimes missed the guidance in projects and responsibilities I would have wished for.

    • No direct investment, but i learned a great deal just by being there.

    • i could get a job, if i wished.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • the students hang out alot together, there is a mix of german and english placement students at mercedes

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Northampton has little to offer and is cheap

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Northampton clubbing is shocking, but available.

    • a failed carting championship. I do l,ots of sports.
