  • I was immediately accepted into my team and given challenging but inspiring work

  • Everyone was happy to help out and give me guidance

  • My manager (as well as many others) was constantly willing to help me out

  • Depending on project the workload varied, but there were more than enough opportunities to be introduced to a project if there was nothing else to be doing

  • I was treated just as any other employee

  • There were friday drinks every week, an open plan office, regular team meetings and social events and everyone was very friendly

  • There was always something to do, or someone to ask for advice who would include you if there was down time

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We had regular socials, organised by EY or by us. Many drinks events, community days, BBQs, cocktails, lunches. A fantastic group of interns - everyone got on really well.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Pricey but worth it. A lot of work functions were paid for by the company though

  • Central London!
