    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • What can I say? It was such a good experience. There was never a dull moment during the job and most of all I enjoyed it.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I don't think that I could have been valued more by my team and colleagues. They all welcomed me to the team and I instantly felt like an integral part of it.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • All of the help that I needed was given to me promptly and efficiently. I felt like I could ask anything, even questions that I thought were stupid.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was always busy with something but the work load was just right. Not too much, not too less.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • They gave me the jobs that the normal employees would tackle. This was very nice as it allowed me to get used to the level of work and learn exactly what it's like to work full time at a big company.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I didn't learn many new skills but I definitely improved the ones that I already have. I feel more confident communicating with other people and also working in a team.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was a very good atmosphere. Everything felt just right. It feels like it was specifically designed so that employees could work comfortably and still output high quality work.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well organized. If there was anything out of place, I certainly didn't notice it.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • All of the time that I spent working I was constantly given tips on how to do things more efficiently from my team members. They really invested a lot of time into helping me get up to speed.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I feel like I have a great chance of securing a job with them.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The social scene was perfect. At first I worried that I might not get along with the other interns and the other members of my team but I didn't have to worry at all as we all got along very well indeed.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It could have been cheaper but I was more than prepared for the costs in London.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • It was really close to perfect. The only problem is that I didn't have time to go to all of the places in the area!

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • All of the interns were offered the chance to go to a few company events. There were a few complimentary dinners too which were very nice.

    5/5
