The Role
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, which offered some fantastic and exciting opportunities and incredible benefits.
I felt very valued by my immediate line manager and colleagues, the level of responsibility and pace of work means you have a really important and valued role within the team and the film marketing process.
I was immediately given the basic training required
I was very busy, but that provided me the chance to prove myself as well as get alot out of the internship
I was given alot more responsibility than I had expected and that was very exciting and horrifying at the same time
I have already seen an increase in my confidence, my communication and my desire to push forward. I will always be able to utilise the sales skills that I have learnt, the comfort I now have making numerous phone calls. An internship I can wholeheartedly recommend.
The Company
an excellent atmosphere, everyone was warm and always open to a conversation. These guys are a big family and I felt a part of that.
The nature of the job meant that things were often in flux, as we would get new jobs on or different projects that needed to be completed, my day would change accordingly. I never felt that this was a case of poor organisation, only the result of a dynamic workplace and business.
Within the first few weeks I had several training exercises to complete, this prepared me for the basics of the job and after that I learnt a lot doing the job. Doing the job was going to be the only way to pick up a lot of the work.
Flexi Time
Healthcare from home
I would say that this is the kind of place where you really want to work. Friendly people, Good environment and specially Team work at its best.
The Culture
Everyone was sociable and I haven't got any problem getting to know most of them.
I was lucky enough to stay with a friend over the 10 weeks, therefore my only outgoing costs were travel and living expenses.
It was great. Happiest place I've ever been to so far. It was expensive though
There are endless clubs and sports teams to get involved with. If there isn't something for you, then you are encouraged to set something up.
