  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very enjoyable day, really interesting and engaging tasks.

    • We were treated well from the off. Everybody was very friendly throughout the day.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • During all taks we could easily approach the employees of EY to ask questions. This was encouraged from the start.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Very useful day and structured well to include a feedback session at the end. This provided constructive criticism as well as what went well which will be useful for the future.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. Everything seemed planned from the minute. We arrived and even breakfast had been timetabled into the day!

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Everyone bonded very well during the day, not just among teams but also with staff too. This gave the day a great atmosphere ensuring everyone had a good time.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • We only spent a day at EY however in that one day we did get through a lot of information and tasks.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • We spent time presenting to a client which proved very fun and interesting. However how much this reflects normal day to day life I am not sure.

    • It was spelled out very clearly what EY was about from the start.

    • The day definitely opened up career paths that potentially I may have overlooked in the past.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Was very happy about this as getting the train from Devon to London is quite expensive...

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Because of the short time we were there there were limited opportunities however we were all given relavent details needed in order to move forward.

    • Again good for the limited time we spent at the firm

    • No, not activities within the firm.
