    • Even though it was only a one day programme, the staff really cared and ensured every candidate was comfortable.

    • The day gave me an insight in what to expect in the financial and accounting sector, I was informed about of the advantages and disadvantages of the job and helped me consider the path at a serious level.

    • The day flew well and each activity linked in well to the previous.

    • Lots of learning with just as much fun!

    • The staff really care about you and always ensure that you are comfortable in the new environment,

    • Though the insight day was only one day, the activities gave me an insight of how the working environment in the financial sector is like.

    • The company culture wasn't really expressed fully however this is mainly due to the lack of time.

    • It really went into detail about the little sectors within accounts and finance. This helped me consider not only career options but university courses as well.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • My travel expenses were reimbursed fully, no hassle, just send the receipt!

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes we had the opportunity to talk with student leavers and people on the graduate scheme which was more relevant to my age group.

    • I did not get a great amount of networking done however there is only so much one can do in one day!

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Unfortunately we did not have a chance to find out about other activities however this was mainly due to the strain on time.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • I would whole heartedly recommend the insight day as it really gives you a true feel of the sector and also allowed me to improve various skills such as communication and team work.
