The Role
Really great experience and considerable knowledge/ skills gained throughout the past 10 weeks.
From day one - you will be welcomed whole-heartedly by the organisation and your opinion will always count.
One of the key goals of an internship is to develop your skills. Throughout the 10 week period - I have had regular opportunities to develop my own skills with management and other colleagues alike - and everybody is very approachable.
A lot of effort is placed on ensuring work-life balance is monitored on an ongoing basis and that the work you are doing is efficient, important and does not eat into your own personal time.
For my two projects - I was the business owner for the delivery and so enjoyed a high level of responsibility.
A whole host of the skills and knowledge learnt during the past 10 weeks will help me with my final year of university. This does not just include "business knowledge" - such as the way the business works and how the full business life cycle applies - but also "softer skills" such as how to present effectively, how to manage my time well and how to lead will all provide a great foundation for success in my academic life!
The Company
The office is very vibrant and the atmosphere generally very open and dynamic. From my experience, people do aim to meet outside of work on a regular basis and it is very easy to make new friends.
I cannot commend the organisation of a P&G internship enough! Despite various business functions, etc all running their own flavours of intern programmes - they all fit into a oommon framework that enables you to easily network with other interns from (perhaps) a different area of the business.
Continual investment. Managers will always make time to see you and talk about their own experiences - and there is a large amount of investment in terms of "official" training, also.

At time of writing - unsure of whether job will be offered or not - but can definitely say that taking an internship with P&G places you in good stead for future employment prospects.
The Culture
The aforementioned framework of the intern programme really makes it easy to make friends with other interns and engage with them - both professionally and on a personal level.
Expensive area (Greater London) - but a great level of support is provided by P&G for the base stuff (i.e. housing).
Weybridge is quite quiet, but Guildford (where the halls of residence are) has quite a good nightlife.
Every week - opportunities to take part in a large variety of out-of-work activities are advertised - and you are encouraged - where possible - to take part.
