  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

  • We were given a lot of information about other placements that Ernst & Young offer, and had the opportunity to talk to students who were currently on the scheme. The facilitators also gave us personalised feedback at the end of the day on our own strengths and where we could improve.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • We were given many tasks throughout the day, and had a real taste of what it may be like working at Ernst & Young as we had deadlines that we had to meet.

  • Although we had a facilitator with us at all times to observe and guide us, we were given a lot of freedom in how we approached the task.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Teamwork was the most prominent skill that we developed as we had to listen to each others' ideas and work as a team to present back to the client.

  • Other attendees were also enthusiastic and keen to make the most out of this day so the atmosphere was very friendly.

  • We were told about the other schemes that Ernst & Young offer as well as being provided with an additional booklet containing the details. If we choose to apply, we may be fast tracked in the selection process.
