    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I found every trainee, associate and partner to be welcoming and helpful - this made the Vac Scheme so much better. The work itself was varied, from simple tasks every trainee must do (filing/proof reading) to reading and correcting Fact Sheets about new Directives, there were tasks that I struggled to understand but I was told this was normal an received lots of advice

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Treated as an equal and with respect. They were keen to help or give out tasks.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisor was endlessly patient, always happy to answer the most trivial question and very supportive of any work I did. Gave feedback on work too

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The talks in the morning do not leave much time in departments which could be a blessing in disguise and this meant that there was a steay flow of work rather than periods of nothing.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given Directives to read and understand so I could correct Fact Sheets, I attended a Client Meeting with an Associate and a Partner and analysed cases for others.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • My entire department, and most of the firm, were fantastic. All friendly and personable. Trainees made an effort to get us involved in social activities and even some of the Partners were down to earth at Lunches

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well organised despite some talks over-running time wise

    5/5
