  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • i was immediately welcomed into the team, and given real responsibilities and respect, with hundreds of opportunities to learn new skills and build on existing ones.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • i felt incredible welcome right away, this was helped by the many team drinks and events we attended together, very warm atmosphere.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • you constantly have catch up meetings with your line manager to discuss what you are doing that week, and being in such a close environment i could ask my line manager anything i wanted at any time.

  • There was always something for me to do, and if there wasn't i could easily fill my time with little jobs or researching product, news and competitors on the internet,

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • i was given numerous projects to handle on my own from the start, real projects designing real products, which was daunting but exciting, and made me feel like a real member of the company.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • aside from the numerous training courses offered to us, i was encouraged to talk to many members of staff who have years of knowledge in my filed and get advice and tips about the business from them.

  • a real open and friendly atmosphere.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • because there has been an intern scheme at Warner Bros. for so long, everything has been planned out and thought of meticulously, and you are given constant reviews and talks on your aims and progression.

  • you are given real freedom in developing yourself and Warner Bros. provide many training courses for you to develop.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • There is not a specific grad scheme offered for interns for after you graduate, but Warner Bros. do keep your details on record and tell you about upcoming jobs, and many permanent employees here were interns, so it does help you get your foot in the door.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • All the interns often got together for drinks and nights out, because there was so many of them, we all became friends very quickly.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is quite an expensive city, but there are plenty of places for cheap nights out if you look for them.

  • The office is in Central London, so offers everything you could possibly want in terms of night life.

  • There are many things to keep you occupied in london.
