Overview
As a Marketing Intern, I got to work closely with the Marketing team, the in-house Marketing Studio and the Art team on multiple projects. Every day is different, but some tasks that I worked on: - Do research on a certain topic to support upcoming campaigns - Create Excel sheets/PowerPoint for a certain marketing deck or list inventories - Write creative briefs for the Marketing Studio - Facilitate communication cross team to make sure things are done on time
Skills
Definitely! I have learnt to use a few technical tools, became a lot more experienced with Excel and PowerPoint, developed my project management skill and adopt a more effective communication technique. A lot of these skills are highly transferrable, which is great for you to take to wherever your next destination will be.
Responsibilities
Yes, which is actually a really good thing if you just start out in your career. I was lucky to be trusted with many different projects, which allowed me to develop my project management and time management skills.
Support & Guidance
Quite a lot of support was provided from both the HR team and my team. We always have intern events like team building and volunteering, which allowed us to really develop good relationships with others. My team was super nice as well, they support me a lot throughout the whole process.
Culture
King is SUPER fun, I have been in an ad agency before, which was already quite relaxed and chill but King’s energy is definitely on a different level. People are super nice and willing to talk to you, even the most senior ones, and we have quite a lot of events where colleagues can meet and get to know each other more.
Your Impressions
I definitely had a really enjoyable internship at King and always feel so thankful that I’m part of this amazing place. People are nice & supportive, the work is fun and creative, the culture is great (we have free snacks and drinks!). 10/10

Do research into the company, the current trends and share your thoughts on our work. Be yourself and relax! People are super nice and they genuinely want to get to know you so radiating positivity is highly recommended as well!
