    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was fun, great experience and a really good environment to work in

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I feel like my managers had a lot of confidence in me and my abilities

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was trained for two jobs very well and then after this you are given independence to complete the work, and the manager/colleagues are always there to help if I ever struggled or needed help.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had two jobs, the first job was very busy after a big movie release but more quiet when there were not many films out. The second job varied in what needed to be done, but most of the time I was a perfect balance of busy.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a fair amount of responsibility and a lot of trust had to go into my work.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This was a great benefit for me, I have gained knowledge I can bring back to my studies as well as gaining important experience for future jobs.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I really enjoyed the working atmosphere, the place was relaxed and not too noisy. All the people are friendly and my managers didn't segregate themselves to their teams.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • This would have probably been a higher score but my changeover half way through the year got scrapped and a new changeover took place, and there was a month of me not knowing what I was going to be doing in the second half of the year.

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company planned about 9-10 events that helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses as well as improving important skills like presentational skills.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    Staff Sales/Staff Shop

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would love to come back and work here again, although there isn't a graduate scheme.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There were plenty of events to attend and socialise. There are around 30 interns as well, which is always handy.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is an expensive area, however, I lived at home so I can't really comment on the cost of living because mine was pretty cheap. But I do know some interns who are paying a lot to live a 30 minute tube ride into work. If you find the right bars you could save a bit...

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Being London, and more specifically to my office, near Covent Garden....there is so much to do...a lot of happy hours and you have leicester square not too far away as well.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the company.

    4/5
