Overview
- Developing a full stack solution in a standalone project for my team in Python - Attending daily standup sessions and maintaining good tech practices in my project - Demoing and presenting my project to wider members of the team
Skills
- Developed programming skills in Python - Enhanced Devops skills through the nature of an enterprise role, from GitHub Actions, to Docker, to AWS - Improved ability to work in an agile team and maintain good tech practices throughout a project
Responsibilities
Yes, the project given is mostly independent and was driven by my ideas of how I wanted my internship to look like. I am treated like another member of the team, attending standups and presenting a demos. They have given a lot of responsibility.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support. As much as I wanted. They would always be ready to answer any questions that I have and people made time out of their day not explain things to me.
Culture
Very very supportive. A very young team who were supportive of any mistakes and lack of knowledge and put their best in helping me develop as a software engineer.
