Overview
I go to the office half the time and work from home the other half. I attend all the meetings the full time employees attend, however as an intern have a stand alone project that I work on. I have a navigator who helps me along with my project and everyone else on the team is more than happy to answer my questions. People are very patient and helpful with my questions.
Skills
I have learnt about enterprise programming, I have learnt about Kotlin programming language and I've learnt about working in a large corporation.
Responsibilities
I was given my own project however some interns were made to work with their team directly. I feel I was given quite a lot of autonomy while still being supported nicely so I was happy
Support & Guidance
I felt very well supported and the guidance was very explicit for the project generally. Furthermore, if I had questions along the steps I could ask whoever on the team whatever I needed. They made a point of telling me to ask lots of questions.
Culture
It was very nice and friendly! It was very fun chatting with team members despite being from different backgrounds and age ranges.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it very much! I had fun with my team, I felt I learnt a lot of things and I wasn't overly stressed due to a relaxed work culture and regular reassurance.
Yes
Focus more on presenting yourself accurately then impressing with skills. I had little on my resume but I was still taken on because of the interview.
