    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Customer fleet management. Daily looking after and taking emails, calls etc. Dealing with whatever queries customers have for me and making sure to be able to run my accounts smoothly. Looking after these customers company cars and also their fleet as a whole

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have learnt loads, before hand i never really knew about the automotive finance world. However through learning on the job and also the educational side of my apprenticeship (workshops, revisions sessions, online tasks), I have learnt massively and hope to continue this.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes I have been given much responsibility within my apprenticeship. Within the first 3 months, I had been trusted with looking after my own customer / account. And from here I have been given another account and also been trusted to cover those in my team when they are away.

  • I have received a lot, whether that be from my FSTP mentors, my line manager, my colleagues and even just other apprentices. Everyone has been there to support me when ive needed it.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • It is really really good. Everyone is always a part of one team and is always happy to help eachother. There is a great relationship between my smaller team but then also between the whole company.

  • If you are thinking of doing it, do it. I feel here is such great place to work and a place where you will learn so much everyday. Always come to work ready to learn as when you start there is a lot to take in. But dive in head first and enjoy the role.
