Overview
I assisted in the delivery of the image validation of the Machine Learning Image Ranking Service, working with the team which orchestrates the intrastructure around different Machine Learning models. I worked in the Computer Vision domain and was able to work with both Software Engineers and Machine Leanring Scientists, which jointly create and execute different models.
Skills
Absolutely, learned new skills (AWS, Databricks, PySpark, SQL) and developed existing ones (especially with respect to large-scale software engienering, industry-level machine learning engineering)
Responsibilities
I worked independently as any member of the team and reported my progress to my manager and to the team in the meetings, my project was an enhancement to the existing pipeline process.
Support & Guidance
I reported weekly (and sometimes bi-weekly) to my manager on 1:1 meetings, and my buddy and the rest of the team were always helpful
