    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I worked with the corporate Shared Services and Data Management teams to conduct an internal audit of user documentation across the Supply Chain function. Day to day I met with supply planners, organised and analysed information on Excel spreadsheets, learnt and trained others on how to use a new site, reviewed and formatted documents, made PowerPoints and presented to teams from other divisions.

  • I enjoyed my internship a lot, although as an intern there is not always huge amounts for you to do - but L'Oreal subscribes to a number of learning platforms so you can use your time by doing trainings and extra courses.

  • Be confident, research the company a lot and prepare for your case study interview. Show your interest by attending sessions held by L'Oreal, speak to people in the company if you can and don't be discouraged by the application process
