    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As purchasing intern, you will be responsible for supporting the buying team and assisting them in the implementation of our purchasing initiatives. Key daily tasks include: responding to any purchasing related queries via the helpdesk; aiding the business to set up suppliers on our system; working closely with the buying team to provide them with spend reports and analysis; as well as pulling key stats and financial reports for monthly meetings with the FD.

  • My line manager was very supportive and answered any questions I had/ would help to resolve any issues I came across. The purchasing team were very welcoming, supportive and overall a lovely team to be a part of.

  • Get involved! There are many opportunities to get involved in intern sports teams/ socials. It’s a great way to not only make friends, but also to network with the rest of the business!
